The Nintendo GameCube was released on November 18, 2001 in the U.S. and on September 14, 2001 in Japan. The end of it's lifetime came in 2007, when the Nintendo Wii was released, which is able to play GameCube Games.
Controller[]
The controller consists of two analog sticks: The main control stick and the C-Stick. On the lower left, there is a D-Pad for movement of characters. In the middle is the Start/Pause button. To the right of the controller, there are four buttons: A, B, X, and Y. These are usually action buttons(for example: A is commonly used for the player to jump). On the top of the controller, the L, R, and Z buttons can be found. The L and R buttons(Left and Right) are large gray buttons that are easy to push down. The Z button is small

and blue, and is mostly an extra button to use in a game.
